Tuart Vineyards 2011 Chenin Blanc
The West Australian Wine Guide 2012 by Ray Jordan
Just like his old man, Paul, Jason Conti knows how to get the best out of this variety. So well suited to the warm climes of the Swan. This is bursting with tropical fruits on the nose and palate. There’s a lovely fresh, crisp acid which gives a refreshing aftertaste. Nice current drinking. 90/100

Terrifically vibrant and fruity chenin blanc from this excellent vineyard. The full-on tropical smells are superb and provide a wonderful opening to the wine. The flavour is all fruity and delicious with a touch of lime juice to complement the finish. Lovely current drinking. 89/100

five of the best aromatic whites....
Lemon and lime flavours dominate the palate, which finishes with a touch of classic chenin bitterness and dryness. It's a great foil for the salmon-potato parcels (recipe featured in magazine).

A terrific zippy tropical fruit bomb. A good vintage has thrown up this appealing crunchy mouthful of flavour. The crisp acid sustains things perfectly. 89/100

A lovely example of a young chenin, this wine has a very fruity, aromatic bouquet followed by lovely weighted mid palate fruit. Stylish, clean and true to its variety, this wine finishes crisp and clean, and has lots of potential for ageing, as all good chenins should.

At time of tasting this wine was slightly tighter and leaner than the previous wine, which I really liked. It has bracing crispness and plenty of length with controlled tropical characters. Appealing. 88/100

Restrained stone-fruit aromas. Mouth filling, finely textured flavours of tropical fruits and spice. A hint of residual sugar does not compromise what is essentially a dry style of chenin. Roly finds, ?good varietal character and generosity of flavour?. Softness and roundness is this wine's signature. Well crafted, it will become a distinguished wine with age. Enjoy now with shellfish and put a few away to enjoy the honeyed, secondary characters that will evolve over the next six to 10 years.

Shows a slightly powdery citrus tropical fruit aroma. The palate is impressive with ripe round tropical flavours balanced with a fine crisp acid and a sustained finish. A very good wine.

Light green-yellow; the bouquet is aromatic, with ripe peach/tropical aromas with an exotic overtone vaguely reminiscent of durian. The same exotic mix of tropical fruits including guava and durian come through on the palate, which has good length and acidity.

The Conti name is entwined with WA’s wine history and will certainly be part of its future. This chenin blanc is a fine example of the variety. The bouquet offers rich tropical fruit aromas and leads to a rich palate of slightly honeyed well-balanced fruit character with fresh fruit acid. The finish is dry, clean and with the hallmark of a well made wine, the flavours last an age.
