Tuart Vineyards 2010 Tempranillo
The West Australian Wine Guide 2012 by Ray Jordan
Love this highly drinkable tempranillo. Perfumed bouquet of spices and red berry with a touch of confectionary. The palate is so seamlessly soft and generous with effortless control and poise. Fine tannin and very fine oak integration. Excellent wine. 91/100

Tarry, coffee-like aromas - almost leathery. Vibrant combo of chocolate, molasses and redcurrant fruit flavours nicely supported by oak and firm acidity.

A densely coloured wine, the nose offers dried cherry, dark plums, Coca-Cola and an array of spices. In the mouth it's dense in texture and very flavoursome, with abundant deep fruit.
It finishes dry with some textural tannin notes and a core of balanced acidity.

Medium deep in colour, this is bright and fresh with cherry and plum fruit aromas and flavours. The tannins are ripe and structured and support the richness of the fruit, which also has a pleasing, savoury edge. This is a fine example of tempranillo, strongly varietal and quite delicious to enjoy now and over the next year or two.

Tight, inky and closed. Smells of tar and molasses. Savoury palate is quite acidic, showing ageing potential and prominent tannins.

This is a new one from Conti. It rips with an earthy dry dusty palate balancing gentle plump and fruity flavours. Nice fine tannins. All round, a fine example of this variety, one that shows structure and elegance. 9/10
